Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I cancelled service with my ISP in june but I got a bill the next month. I called them, and they apologized and said it would be the last. The following month I got another bill with late charges. Called them again, same story the following month. I am planning to write back and say I am not going to pay. Is that advisable? Or should I try to call and cancel again.

Gee, you are finally going to quit calling them and -write a letter-? Golly! Maybe you will even send it certified mail RRR.
