Car damaged by auto stereo install shop, will not pay!
10/2 I bought a new Honda Civic '06. Part of my deal the salesman referred me across the street to have audio equipment installed. 10/03/05 930am I dropped the car @ the audio shop. 10/4/05 I went to see how they were doing and found that while putting my stereo together they dropped the stereo on the dash. Now there are dents and scratches on the brand new dash. There are three sections of the dash that were damaged. I took a picture of two of the pieces of the dash at 4pm and took them to the honda dealer at 430 they quoted the replacement (cannot be repaired) would cost $1400 for those two pieces of the dash plus labor. also, the third piece of the dash that is scratched I did not show to honda yet.I spk w/the installer because the owner was not there at 5pm with my gf, The guy said its just a little scratch and she said she was having the police come by to file a report. They finished the install at 830pm. They say they have no insurance and were only willing to discount my bal to $0 (cost of install is $600) i told them thats not enough the cost is over $1400, they said there is nothing they can do. i took my car home 830p. What can I do? If i got them to small claims can i get my money? what are my rights ?

Send a demand letter to the owner, return receipt requested. Keep a copy of the letter. Include a copy of the repair estimate and another set of photos. If that doesn't work, then small claims would be your only other option.
