possible car dealer fraud

I recently leased A new vehicle from a broker I Have used in the past. He took my existing car and said the lease would be paid off from the new financing. He has not paid it off and still has my old car which is still in my name. So I am still liable. He is now saying the deal was to pay it monthly until the lease is up. Do I have any recourse?
