Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
can a used car be sold with mechanical problems and they know about and not disclose it to the buyer? and not have it fixed prior to the sell of this used vehicle

The seller must disclose all matters of importance that they are aware of. If the car is unsafe to drive they can not sell it if they know the buyer is going to drive it. But if the car is not in volation of any laws, it can be sold as long as there has been the full disclosures.
