Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
New cars bought with factory problems.
2003 VW Jetta purchased in April was missing a sensor that turns on the AC.Took it in to have it put in & they did.The AC blows only on the setting that flows from the dash vents.Took it in to have it looked at,they said nothing was wrong because cold air comes out.Yes,cold air comes out but does not blow.When car was returned,the car was damaged.What legal action am I entitled to seek?How is an issue like this resolved?Please help!

from the facts given, you would be entitled to any damages incurred that were actually and proximately caused by the negligent conduct of this dealership. further, if the car was placed in the stream of commerce in a defective condition, you would also have rights under strict liability in tort, breach of contract warranties, and/or possible misrepresentation. if you would like further legal assistance, please email me directly with how you would like to proceed.
