Changing ownership on a vehicle
How do I release myself from liability on a vehicle that was given away? The vehicle was nonoperational the last ten years and the person that took it away left before I could change the ownership, and now I cant find them. Can you help?

contact the DMV, explain the problem and obtain a release of liability form and any other paperwork.
