Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

class action lawsuit affect auto lease end value?

I am in three years into a five year auto lease in CA. There has been a national class action lawsuit issued against the manufacturer because of a faulty part that I personally had replaced three times. I want to break the lease because of the amount of parts I have had to replace on the car in addition to the declared faulty part. I feel that the class action lawsuit hurts the car value and my payout to the leaser should be lower than they originally estimated in my contract. Do I have a foundation to make this argument or is it simply wishful thinking?

Probably not. Past lemon law period. Sounds like a great attempt at getting out of a lease, but likely will not work.
