Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Contest an Ex-Parte Motion

I filed a mutual stipulation which the judge called ex parte motion., The judge made a decision mainly to deny yet to sustain partially.

Is there a means by which to contest the judge's decision or to ask of the court a re-examination of the issue at hand? And which Code of Civil Procedure gives guidance to such.

Thank you.
