Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
contract breach?
I had a wedding 3 months ago in which I had a contract with the photographer...we had a written contract although before I signed, we had agreed that either he personally or his partner would take the pictures, and we agreed that we would get 35mm negatives. We were sent another photographer (from another company!) and we have 220mm negatives. The person from the original photo studio admitted the mistake that he had sent the wrong person, but did nothing to solve it let alone solve the problem with the negatives.
Not only that but the photographer admitted to us that he confused us with another couple and so sent us the wrong photographer so this goes to show that there was a mistake made and we were made to suffer accordingly. The photographer that came even admitted in confidence to me that he didn't work for the company I had signed with and was asked to take the pictures.
