Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
We have a contract and deposit on a puppy. The breeder has decided, 2 weeks prior to the date of delivery, that she no longer wants to sell it to us. I have looked over the contract and do not see that it states that they can change their mind at any time. Do we have any legal recourse?

It depends on what the contract says. Is there a reason you can't go elsewhere to purchase
More importantly: why are you buying a dog. There are all types of dogs available for adoption. As they say, Don't Breed or Buy while Shelter Pets Die."
