Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Contract law?
I adopted a dog from a rescue. After he was in my home he became increasingly aggressive toward humans. I returned the dog. The rescue refuses to refund my adoption fee. There was a no refund statement in the paper I signed. The only option she is giving me is to adopt another dog. I don't want another dog. I don't consider them interchangeable, like a pair of pants. Also, I am no longer comfortable adopting a dog whose history is not known. My next option is to file a small claims suit. Do you think I have a chance of getting my money back?
