Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
contracts
I signed a contract on 3/26/08 with a storage company so I could store my belongings. Today, a friend offered me a much better and affordable deal. My question, is there a grace period after signing a contract in which I may change my mind? I understand I won't get all my money back but I'd like to get some of it back.

Re: contracts
Read the contract. If there are no express terms negotiate a cancelation

Re: contracts
The answer should be in the contract. There is generally no "grace period" after signing to revoke the contract, but the contract could have a month to month term or something similar so you might not be out too much money. Good luck.
