Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

In Which Court Should I File My Small Claims Case?

I paid Orbitz.com $471 for a hotel reservation in Mexico. When I visited the Mexican hotel, they told me that I MUST pay them for my stay, since they had received no money from Orbitz. So I paid for my stay. When I returned to the US, Orbitz refused to refund my money since they cannot speak Spanish to talk to the Mexican Hotel about what happened. I want to sue them in small claims court, but can I file Long Beach, California, where I live? I dont know where Orbitz is headquartered...does it matter? Which court should I file with?

Thanks!

Re: In Which Court Should I File My Small Claims Case?

ORBITZ, 200 S Wacker, Suite 1900, Chicago, IL 60606. If you file in your hometown court and get a judgment, you'd have to have someone enforce it either against a bank account in CA or in IL.
