Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Hello, I have a cousin who's in military who just bought a car. I co-signed him because he doesn't have a crdit history. We just got approved last weekend and we signed a contarct without down payment because i have good credit and they released to us the vehicle. I am the primary in the contract. After 3 days, the dealer called us they said we have to return the vehicle because my cousin has no sufficient fund to pay for the vehicle unless we give them a big downpayment. Do we have to return the car? or Do we have the right to keep the vehicle since we are bound by the contract that we signed for?
