Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

craigslist

I sold tv on craigslist. its a free ebat-type of local service for the sale of goods and services. I showed the guy the tv for 45 minutes to make he was satified. the tv worked flawlessly. I loaded the tv in his vehicle on its side against my suggestions. two weeks later he calls stating that the tv doesnt work and he wants his 700$ back. I told him to pound sand. Does he have any recourse at all on a used item sold via an online flea market. This is in California, btw. Thnak you

Re: craigslist

No. It must have been a nice used TV for that kind of money. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if he goes to small claims court. Be prepared and bring witnesses who will say the TV worked perfectly when he picked it up.
