Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I used credit card to order expensive facial care, but it does not work. I called them, they don't accept return. Their website shows no return policy.
I called my credit card, they said I can still do return, just send it back and get post office receipt, then I can go to dispute and get credit back.
I am afraid the vendor still won't give me credit back, I have paid it but no product.
I am afraid the vendor refuse to sign the certifired returned package and send it back to me.
What is your suggestion to protect myself?

I believe the credit company is telling you take the certified mail to the proof that you mailed it. I do not believe they need proof that the company received the product back. Your letter will look something like this:
"Dear Credit Card Company:
As I informed you on _____ __, 2012, I wish to dispute the charge of $___ from ABC Cosmetics on April 2, 2012. The reason for my dispute is that the product did not work as promises for the following reasons:
On Juney 25, 2012, I returned the product via certified mail. I have enclosed a copy of my receipt from the post office and proof of mailing.
Please remove this charge from my account and contact me if you have any questions."
