If the dealership sends me a Notice of Election to Rescind but changes their mind, can I still take the car back if I do not want it anymore?

There are many answers to your question. Did you agree to take the car back before they chnaged their mind? Has the car loan been placed with a lender? If so has the lender funded the loan? You should consider consulting with an attorney who specializes in Consumer Law vs. Auto Dealers.
