Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Deceptive Advertising
I purchased an item online, from a reputable store, based on the picture and description given. When I received the item,it was not the same as the picture or description.I called and was told I received the correct item according to the item number and they're not responsible for typographical errors. There's no way I could've known I wasn't ordering what was described and pictured. They don't want to give me the item pictured and described because it is considerably more expensive. What rights do I have?Their ordering page was deceptive-much more than a typographical error.
