Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
If the defendant countered sued in small claims and lost the case , his counter claim is dismissed the plantiff owes him nothing. the defendant owes the plantiff what the plantiff sued him fore. if the defendant appeals does he appeal the judgement agaist
him or does he appeal both his counter claim and the judgement against him.

He can only appeal the judgment against him. He cannot appeal the loss of his counter claim.
