Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Deffective product
This questions is on my Father's behalf:
My father purchased an Enema kit from a Belaire Super market. he asked one of the employees for assistance and the employee handed him the kit. At home, my father opened the box and noticed that the parts looked a bit out of place, but he did not make much of it since sometimes contents inside products shift. He then put on his glasses and at closer inspections, he noticed that the enema had been used and it may have had remains of fecal matter. please advice what to do

Re: Defective product
I would advise Dad to return the enema kit to the supermarket and demand his money back, and to then call the local health department. Possibly they can prevent the store's employees from again returning the unit to inventory.
I would also advise him to only use new enema kits in sealed packaging, and not to purchase any enema kits labeled "Used," "Refurbished," or "Reconditioned."
Avoid "blowout sales."
