Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Dell Repossession
I have been financing a Dell computer since 2001 and I recently got behind in a few payments. I still have a almost two years left of the contract. I made a payment last month then received a call from an Attorneys office saying that if I do not make arrangements to have the computer paid off within six months, they will be coming out next week with the sheriff to repossess the computer. Can this be true? Does Dell really want that computer back?

Re: Dell Repossession
Theydo have a right to reposses the computer. If you are able to make the payments as scheduled, then contact the attoprney and try to make arrangements to continue the contract.
Re: Dell Repossession
You will have to refer to the terms of your contract. If not in the contract, contact Better Business Bureau
