Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Is a deposit forfeited on an acceptance of proposal contract if the work is not
I signed a proposal agreement in 11/2000 for beveled glass doors to be completed in 6/8 wks. By 01/06 no work had been done by Co. I changed plan on 1/11/01 & on 03/23 CO. finally showed design. On 04/25 CO. says new qoute, I do not agree with price, Can they keep all of the deposit if no terms were indicated on the contract for breach, termination or disagreement?
