Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Dry cleaner ruined my leather jacket beyond usability
I understand that I can file a case in the small claims court against the dry cleaner. My question is how to determine the value to claim and whether it may only include the depreciated cost of the garment?
Thanks

Get an estimate for the replacement cost. Sue for that amount. If the judge thinks you are entitled to the depreciated amount, he will depreciate the cost for you.
