Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
In early 2011, I paid (via PayPal) for an email consultation, with a therapist. The therapist had a family emergency, and I never received the consultation. Is it too late to ask for a refund?
Over the last few months, I've tried to contact the therapist about a refund, but have not received a reply to any of the emails I've sent. Is there anything I can do to get my money back?

Initiate the dispute process with PayPal. If that doesn't work, you can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau or a small claims lawsuit. if the person is truly a licensed therapist, file a complaint with the entity that oversees this person.
