Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Can I be evicted because I have someone living with me who is here on a legal vi
I have a friend who is from Panama and he has been staying with me for a few weeks and has decided to stay with me until his visa expires in January 2003. I went to the management to have him fill out an application per my lease agreement, however, he does not have a SSN. When management found that out, they refused him and also asked me to leave. Is this legal to do? If not, what steps can I take to prevent this from happening at my new place?
Thank you.
