Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
On February 16 2014 my husband and I went into a pet store and signed a contract that we were putting down a deposit on a specific type of puppy and that was suppose to be in by march 1st 2014. We called several times and they never knew what was going on with the puppy that was suppose to sent to them for us. Kept getting different answers like oh that breed of dog is out if season to we will get it next week to I don't know from the store manager. The contract stated the deposit was only good until March 1 2014. On march 19 we demanded for our money back. So far no refunds have been sent and it's now April 8. These people say they don't know what's going on. I still have my contract and have bank statement showing they took the money is there anything to get my money back?

If they won't give your money back, you should file a small claims lawsuit.
