Fee

I recently set a appointment with landscape designer to give a quote for services, for 4 days later. (Called Mon, Set for Friday) I failed to cancel the appontment. The designer is wanting to charge a missed appointment fee for his time, and travel. he did not call and confirm the appointment previously.

Tell him you're sorry for the inconvenience but that he has no legal right to the money.

Assuming there was to be no fee for the appointment or the quote, that is probably true. Even if it's not, hopefully it will make him go away.
