Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Gross Negligence? It seems like it to me. Can I make them stop?

I believe the dealership who sold me my 1996 auto, has committed gross negligence, dishonestly and unethical practices against me. The dealership says a second mechanic is negligent, but I am not so sure. Both the dealership and the second mechanic point to each other and list reasons they were negligent. Basically I have spent 1,450, not including new tires, and have a car that is in MUCH worse shape than it was when I first towed it into the dealership. The dealership has lied, falisified paperwork, neglicted to record work, and neglected to repair minor work thus causing more serious damage. My car only has 50,000 miles. This dealership has failed me on other occasions as well. Is there any way little 'ol me stop the dealership's unethical practices? Can I take the manufactuer, the dealership and the second mechanic to small claims court on the same day so that the second mechanic can defend himself as I am unable to, and either Ford who made the car, or the dealership sold me it can defend themselves as to why I now have a piece of junk on four new tires?

You very well may have a solid legal claim pursuant to the California Legal Remedies Act and the Business and Professions Code prohibitions on unfair business practices. Under the first law you can recover damages and attorney fees. I would be happy to discuss this case with and review your paperwork right away. Please call (818 597-2610) or email to set up an appointment. Thank you, Howard Silver
