Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Hair Salon

I went to a Salon to get my hair dyed and highlighted. Two people worked on my hair and turned it orange on the top and a few other colors in the back and this is not what I asked for. I called the corportate office the next day and they offered to let me get my hair fixed. I got my hair fixed on the top but the back is the same and I want my money back but they refused. My hair is down past my waste and I had to cut it some because of the damages. Also I have broken hair locks on the top of my head from the over bleaching. Please help!

Re: Hair Salon

You can file a complaint with the licensing agency that licenses cosmetologists. But, its probably less than $200 that you are talking about and suing over that is going to take more time than you would imagine. If you wanted to, you could go to small claims court, but you are probably better off with the complaint.
