Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Harassment
Eighty year old lady, paying off her debts through a consumer credit organization is constantly harassed, by telephone, by certain credit card companies. These companies are being paid by the consumer credit company, although the payments get to them later then their specified due dates.
What can I do to stop them from calling my mother, who is doing the best she can?

Re: Harassment
Please see my website for a sample letter which will require the debt collectors to stop calling your mother (www.truebloodlawfirm). This type of harassment, especially against an elderly lady, is very upsetting, and has resulted in fairly large damage awards. You can generally secure an attorney on a contingent fee. Contact my office if you want a free consultation. Good luck.
