Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Hidden camera in car dealer finance office
My manager placed a hidden camera in my office in a wall clock with no disclosures of its presesence against my will. There is also a voice recorder. Is this against the law? I am a finance and Insurance manager at a car dealership. Please advise.
Thank you
Melissa

That is a violation of privacy rights -- unless you were notified in advance. How did you find out about it? This might be something worth pursuing, but you might want to think about it awhile before you do -- and consult with an attorney. Most of us don't charge for that.
