Hidden Charges on used car

I bought a used car and later found the price on the contract higher than what we agreed on. they explained the higher price was due to a $850.00 p.d.i. , pre-delivery inspection charge. Is this legal? Shouldn't this be itemized on the contract on the ''other'' space provided or at least disclosed verbally.

It is not legal. They lied to you and cheated you. go to small claims court.
