Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
horse
I was riding my horse on the ranch I board him at,which is private propery and he backed into a truck. He put a dent in the truck and now the owner of the truck wants to file a claim on my car insurance.First of all this was not a car accident. We all signed waivers when we brought our horses onto this property.Am I liable for this dent? This is private property and accidents and horses do go hand in hand. The owner wants my insurance info and I will not give it out. Should I offer half the repair bill?

Re: horse
you are probably responsible for the whole repair and i dont think your car insurance would cover. you are not obligated to give him the car insurance info. if you can settle for half the bill do it.
