Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Immigration Law and Consumer Law (combined question)
Hello,
I have come to USA on an L1 visa. In short it is a kind of a ''company transfer '' visa. I have a few books which I legally bought from my home country (numbering around 50) with me.
1)Can I sell them as ''used books'' on the internet in USA ?
2)would it be legal to sell a book on the internet considering my L1 status ?
3)What would be the status of the proceeds from the sale of the book ? How would they be treated according to the local tax law ?
Any help/advice on this issue would be highly appreciated.
regards
Ashwin

Sorry, but I am not familiar with immigration law. Unable to help you since I do not know what an L1 visa is about.
