Inhertance

I inherited some money from my family around 60000. They live in a diff state. They wanted to send it directly to my checkin or seving accout. How much can they do at a time.

Congratulations on your inheritance. I know of no reason why they wouldn't be able to send you a check for all the money, or wire it into your bank account.

They should be able to do it all at once, but check with your bank on any limits they may have or holds they may place on the money.

If you are worried about the tax consequences, it is likely that the taxes were already paid by the estate or the trust that the money is coming from. If that is your concern, check with the executor or trustee at the source.

If they were NOT already paid, getting the money in small doses will not avoid the taxes.
