Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

installation guarantee::breach of contract?

We had 1200 sq feet of engineered cherry hardwood floors installed by a licensed contractor on June 11, 2002. Installation was ''glue down'' over cement with no additional moisture barrier-1000 sq feet over old concrete, 200 sq feet over new cement (Feb 2002). On July 12,2002 the wood over new slab was buckled in waves Contractor blamed leak in slab. We paid for independent testing- NO LEAK. Next contractor blamed cement. Again we paid for independent testing. Concrete was found to have high moisture emissions CONSISTANT with concrete of its age, in this goegraphical area ie.concrete normal. Our contract states -all installations are guaranteed for 1 year The contractor refuses to honor this guarantee and as time progresses more of the floor extending onto the older slab is buckling. We have paid the contractor in full, $19740, of which $13,400 is for wood flooring and installation. What are our legal rights in this situation?
