Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
We have an internet provider, we wanted to lower our bill. We asked for a lower price and they did lower the price. They sent an email saying that I agreed to their terms. I did not see a contract or sign anything just agreed to the lower price. in so doing they said I agreed to their terms and cancelation policy which is Three years and percentage of time left on the contract. I did not sign anything. It is a huge Dollar amount they are requesting for cancelation should we decide to do so. Are we liable to the cancellation terms even thought we never did see a contract or terms. Can they say that accepting the new price is accepting the terms?

You do not provide enough information to answer your question. We would need to know exactly how you communicated with them about the lower price and what documentation, physical or electronic, exists for that and what it says.
