Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
We have an internet provider, we wanted to lower our bill. We asked for a lower price and they did lower the price. They sent an email saying that I agreed to their terms. I did not see a contract or sign anything just agreed to the lower price. in so doing they said I agreed to their terms and cancelation policy which is Three years and percentage of time left on the contract. I did not sign anything. It is a huge Dollar amount they are requesting for cancelation should we decide to do so. Are we liable to the cancellation terms even thought we never did see a contract or terms. Can they say that accepting the new price is accepting the terms?
