I was searching the internet for sites that pay people to complete surveys. One particular site had a search option which I used to search for travel surveys.Instead of trvl results, I got the name address age occupation & income for literally thousands of subscribers myself included! Based on the information I received, I am very sure that this Company did in fact get the survey results they wanted using pre-qual questions but never paid any participants because they didn't ''qualify''. Additionally, all of our private information is somehow available through their website. I have downloaded the information as proof. I also printed all 200+ pages of the results. I think this Company needs to (1) compensate the 5000 (or more) people that took the survey but did not ''qualify'' for payment and (2) take appropriate measures to protect the privacy of their subscribers. I do you suggest I proceed?

I would suggest that you contact the California Attorney General's office. As to civil remedies your strongest action will be under invasion of privacy. Please provide more info for a more comprehensive answer.
