Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Internet/mail fraud

How do I get the rest of my order. Have order and canceled check. Filed with BBB, Va Consumer Services, USPS, Local Police, Federal Trade Commission,the guy does a business out of his home in VA but will not give his physical address, Va police has infro but can only share with law enforcement agency. I can not afford an attorney. What are my options or do I have anymore? I am in CA and the business is in VA.

If you file a lawsuit against the guy, you will be able to send a request to the post office for the physical address of a boxholder. If you need to serve a lawsuit, it might be worth the cost for a private investigator to obtain the address and serve the guy. Good luck!

You have two options:

1. Follow Mr. Cohen's advice OR

2. Talk to an attorney in VA and have them send a letter to the other party.
