Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Item in box not item I bought from retail store.
hello i bought a notebook computer from a store and inside the box was a notebook computer but it was broken,5 years old, and a different model from the same manufacturer. I paid 1200 dollars for it and they will not resolve the situation. Is it advisable to sue a corp. in small claims? and what do you think i should do. thanks

Take them to small claims court, and also report the incident to consumerist.com and gripe2ed.com .
