Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
So on July 9th 2014 I put one envelope with a money order going to the Supreme court, I put another envelope with a 2 Money Orders that was going to where i send my rent I placed them both in the Collection box outside a USPS. Its Been a More than a week and both places have not received them. I would of thought that the mail would have been delayed.Weird thing is that ONE of the money orders of my rent got cashed(The one of the greatest Value) and the other one for the rent hasn't been cashed neither has the one of the supreme court. Was there fraud where the person cashed the money order that wasn't after his name?I went to the supreme court a week after i sent them and they told me they haven't received it.. I called my administrator that collects the rent and also told me he hasn't received it. I Called the Customer Affairs of USPS and told them what had happened they made a case for me, they told me that they would send a Postal Inspector to see if the mailbox had anything that could of made the mail get stuck and robbed. A few hours later they called me and told me that they didn't find any thing suspicious inside. My Question now is if they are telling me that their is no way that it could of got stuck where is my Mail i sent?? Did the Mailman steal it? Help Please! ALSO: I called where i bought the Money order and asked them if they could of told me where the money order was cashed they told me they couldn't.. I have to fill out a form to send to Western Union which will take 30 days for processing. What can i do?

I think the employees at the mail processing center may have stolen your money orders. Keep pressing the the USPS for a refund. This happens more frequently than they would like to admit.
