Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
I had a kitchen remodel in 2013. I just noticed that the granite where they seemed it, is uneven and underneath there is a supporting board that is loose and shows signs of water, do I have any recourse?

Possibly. The first step is to get a contractor to figure out what the problem is, what it will take to fix it, and whether it is due to a defect in materials or installation of the original remodel. If it is due to defective work and will cost any meaningful amount to repair, you must first give the original contractor a chance to fix it. If they fail or refuse to do so, you can have it repaired by someone else and then sue the original contractor for the cost.
