Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
landlord - tennat law
we are facing eviction after renting for 5 years on the pretense that the landlord never gave approval for the dog. the approval was given verbally by both landlords witnessed by the manager and upstairs neighbors.we do not have anything in writting on the month to month lease, is there ever extaneous variables involved where a witnessed verbal agreement can override a written one. we feel the landlord is trying to get us out and take advantage of the vast improvements we have made to the property so he can raise the rent considerably, we have limited rent control.. than-you. sara

fight the eviction and call the people you mentioned as witnesses. Oral contracts are enforcable.
