Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

My laptop is being held hostage!

I sent back a laptop for repair. With the understanding it would take 1 week to diagnose, 1 week to resolve issue. I got the diagnosis approx 7 weeks and was more then what the laptop was worth so I asked to have it shipped back to me. It has been 3 weeks since my last contact with the manufacturer of the laptop and they are not anwering their customer support phone, email, or voicemail. What do I do? How can I get my laptop back?

Re: My laptop is being held hostage!

Send a letter demanding return of the laptop via usps certified return receipt requested. If that doesn't work, sue them in small claims court.
