Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
What late fees can I legally be charged for a storage unit. I have not payed the rent for 50 days. for each month I have been charged a $10 late fee, a $40 pre-lien fee and finally a $70 fee to cut my lock. Is this action legal?

As a starting place, review your rental agreement to see if it addresses what late charges would apply. Then review CA state law regarding self storage services. You can find the law here: http://law.justia.com/california/codes/bpc/21700-21716.html
