Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
What is the legal definition of "a day"? Spokeo, an online people search, will not refund my money because they say I did not request a refund within their stated 7 day timeframe. Isn't a day 24 hours? Has this been tried or decided in any court? Where can I find the outcomes? I am in California, thank you.

I would argue that a day is 24 hours, unless otherwise specified (business hours, normal workdays, holidays, etc.). So, you should be able to request a refund within 7 x 24 hours from when you enrolled, assuming you otherwise qualify for a refund.
