Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
How legal is it for a landlord to increase the rent in California with out giving tenant any written notice prior to tenant recevien the new lease in the mail. Plus the date on the new lease reads start date 11-15-2012 ending date 11-14-2012

The dates are obviously a minor error that will not effect the issues. If the lease was going to expire 30 or more days before the written notice in the new lease was sent than the rent increase was legal. You need to give us more facts.
