Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Lender misconduct, and very unreasonable
My car lender repossessed my vehicle, they are now requiring I pay everything in cash to reinstate. Can they also require I show proof of insurance paid 6 months in advance, cash only? What rights do I have if any? The lender was very abusice on the phone, even went so far as to say I could not speak to her boss because he paid her to filter out the trash like me. Accused me of concealing the vehicle in my garage and being a liar. Is there anything I can do to just pay the fee's and get my car back with out dealing with this lender representative again? The same person answers the only number listed for this company every time.

Re: Lender misconduct, and very unreasonable
They want you to pay them in cash and they want proof of insurance for six months. What exactly is it about this that you think is unreasonable?
