Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

liability of selling a boat

i sold a 1966 trojan cabin cruiser a month ago. on the bill of sale it is listed as is. there has since been a problem with it and the new owner is not happy. at time of sell there was no indication and i had no idea of the problem. am i responsible.
